Universalism is the belief that all people can be saved, and that all people enter into heaven
independently of their religion and of the knowledge they happened to
gain during life. If a creator-God is responsible for the world, then, universal salvation from pain and suffering for all beings, is a requirement of benevolence. In other words, god cannot be perfectly good until all people are saved from the suffering that god itself made possible.
