Islam

The core belief in Islam is that there is only one God, Allah.

Muslims believe in Angels, and that they are messengers of God. They do not have free will, and that it is their duty to communicate revelations from God, record every action a Muslim takes, and take an individual's soul at the time of his death. Most Muslims believe that Angels will eventually die.

The World of the Jinn. In Islam, there are no fallen Angels. Rather, God created the Jinn, to have free will and live unseen in a spiritual world parallel to mankind. They can marry, have children, and have a longer lifespan than humans, but will eventually die. God created the Jinn to worship Him, just like He created mankind to do as well. The most famous Jinn, is in fact Satan.

Muslims believe in the Prophets. The Prophet Muhammad said, God sent messengers and prophets to all the nations in the world, with one central message, believe in the one true God. Islam believes in the Hebrew Prophets, such as Abraham and Moses.

The Five Pillars of Islam. Considered to be mandatory beliefs, and are the foundation for every Muslim life. The first pillar of Islam, Shahadah, is the profession of faith. The second pillar, Salah, which is prayer. Third, is Zakat, which means almsgiving. Fourth, Sawm, fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. And lastly, the fifth pillar of Islam, is Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Islam holds the Quran to be the holy book for their teaching.
